Wednesday, 5th of May saw the inaugral round of the 2010 SMC Rally Sim challenge. The event would see competitors running in any car of their choosing within the 1400cc capacity class, and the new format took in gravel stages around the UK.
Officials turned up but interestingly only one competitor did - Stevie Griffin. This made for an interesting turn of events, leaving him clear winner on the event and taking home the requisite 11 points to put him in clear lead of the championship, albeit a one-horse race at this point!
