Radio Equipment
Things you will need:

Radio - configured to the Motorsports
Association Safety & Medical frequency

Power lead - connected directly to
the vehicles battery

Microphone - should come with the
radio

Aerial - fitted to a
-
Mag Mount (with lead)
Notes:
-
The power lead should be fixed directly to
the vehicles battery, with a fuse in both the positive and earth leads, as
close to the battery as possible.

The microphone should be located where it
cannot be accidentally operated.

The aerial should be the correct tuned
length
-
The aerial lead should not be used if it
appears damaged - regularly check is continuity.
